About Me
I knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a career helping people and realized my passion was in healthcare. I have worked as a social worker/therapist with individuals and groups in a variety of settings including: private practice office, psychiatric hospitals and clinics, medical hospitals, oncology clinics, emergency rooms, and nursing and rehab centers. These experiences have provided me with broad insight into the patient care experience.
Providing therapy to individuals is a pleasure. I enjoy listening to clients stories and creating a supportive environment. I appreciate when people are genuine and open up in a way that is their true self since that is where the most important work can be done. We all can gain wisdom and strength through our experiences. I would love to be a trusted person in your life who you can share your inner thoughts.
I have provided clients and patients in the San Francisco Bay Area a wide range of psychological counseling and social work services to meet their needs. I am here to listen to you, teach you skills and give you tools to cope better. I hope to decrease any anxiety, negative self-talk and to help you look at life in a more realistic way. Please contact me to start your healing process.
My style is warm, compassionate and empathic. I am a perceptive listener who will be attentive to your needs, nonjudgemental and authentic. I will help you realize your interpersonal goals and support you to reach them. I use various psychotherapy methods (cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, strength based) and collaborative treatment starting where you are at. Meditation, affirmations, guided imagery and breath work are all practices I believe can be helpful to you.
